SERVICE Interior Design
The process enabled us to be creative and we focused on the design whilst no structural alterations were needed. We worked closely with the client who had numerous ideas he wanted to incorporate within the property, and we therefore provided a variety of sketches for the layout, as well as options for finishing solutions and materials to be used.
Although each floor of the property did not have a great deal of open spaces, we managed to incorporate all the elements that the client requested through the clever use of space. A good example of this is the outdoor space on the uppermost level. The roof top bar and pool are quite spectacular, offering the perfect setting to host beautiful sunset get-togethers with family and friends.
We were granted a blank canvas, given than the triplex had just been built and was in shell form. The process enabled us to be creative as we focused on a design where no structural alterations were needed.
Although the property had several levels, the workable space per level was limited, yet enough to incorporate a great number of features.
Upon entering the property, one is immediately greeted with an open plan which combines a variety of rich materials. This level includes a luxurious bar, whilst the ceiling exposed concrete, adding an industrial touch.
Each level is accessed through a slightly winding staircase which was made so, to make the best use of space throughout the property. For added comfort, the triplex had an elevator installed.
A vertical fireplace within the living area serves as a stylish heating feature, whilst the entrance to the bathroom nearest to the kitchen is concealed for elegance. The kitchen leads onto a spacious terrace, which combines a beautiful lounge and dining area.
This is not the only outdoor space enjoyed in the property as the roof has been meticulously designed to include a bar area, which intelligently conceals the shaft, a barbeque and sofa lounge area featuring a fire pit as well as showers and a few steps which lead up to an elevated pool.
Style threads through all corners of this property. A gold chandelier and rich drapery evoke a sense of Parisian elegance within the main bedroom which also features a walk-in closet for the male resident of the house. Luxury is further amplified within the bedroom’s ensuite, which includes a ‘his and her’ double vanity and an overall Italian flair created through the terrazzo tiling.
Lastly, yet of significant importance is the female walk-in closet, complete with a make-up vanity set-up, wardrobe space as well as a small work station. A great space for any woman, to get ready and pamper herself whilst enjoying some much-needed alone time, away from the hectic rhythm of everyday life.
